I had a wonderful experience at Tatte in City Center DC. The ambiance is absolutely beautiful—warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed, making it a perfect spot to relax or catch up with a friend. I ordered the turkey avocado sandwich, a dirty chai, and the ham & cheese quiche. Each item was fresh and flavorful. The sandwich was hearty and satisfying, the chai had just the right balance of spice and espresso, and the quiche was rich without being too heavy. The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, and the service was fast—even during a busy hour. I also noticed a wide variety of menu options, from savory dishes to a tempting bakery display. I didn’t get a chance to try the baked goods this time, but they looked amazing and are definitely on my list for next time. Highly recommend Tatte if you’re in the area and looking for great food in a beautiful setting with excellent service.

Tatte is probably the best coffee shop in and around Washington DC. I really loved their house latte and it was much different than the other specialty lattes you get at other shops. Their pastries were also delicious. No wonder why they had a huge crowd inside the coffee shops.

Tatte is a great French-Israeli fusion chain offering a delicious variety of warm dishes, coffee, sandwiches, and baked goods. We tried a creative take on shakshuka with potato cream, mushrooms, bacon, and poached eggs—it was unique and flavorful. The sourdough toast sandwiches were also very tasty. We grabbed a pistachio croissant to go; while good, we’ve had better ones with a stronger pistachio flavor and less sweetness. During peak hours—even on weekdays—it can get quite busy, so it’s worth planning ahead a bit.

I've been coming to this cozy bakery and coffee shop for a while now, and I absolutely love it! The pastries are always fresh, delicious, and perfectly baked. The coffee is rich and flavorful, and the ambiance is just perfect for relaxing or working. My only minor issue is that sometimes they run low on popular items, but that's just a sign of how great everything is! Definitely recommend for anyone in the area.

Does the line get long- yes. Is it worth the wait- ABSOLUTELY!! The sour cherry cheese danish made my taste buds dance for joy. The chai tea latte is worth repeating. The short rib grilled cheese is to die for. Add the tomato basil soup for a chef’s kiss. It’s the way to go to truly appreciate the amazing flavor of both! The croissant breakfast sandwich was good but didn’t compare to the amazing flavor of the short rib grilled cheese. The restaurant stayed consistently busy with walk-ins, and online orders. Every staff member was busy trying to keep up with the demands but staff was friendly and our large order was correct! This restaurant is definitely worth repeating.

I absolutely love Tatte Bakery & Cafe in CityCenter DC! From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by a warm, stylish atmosphere that feels both modern and cozy. It’s the kind of place that invites you to stay a while, whether you’re catching up with a friend or enjoying a quiet moment to yourself. I treated myself to a slice of cake that was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented—light, flavorful, and not overly sweet. Their cappuccino was rich and smooth with a perfect foam-to-espresso balance, and the iced latte was refreshing with just the right kick of espresso, making it a great choice on a warmer day. The staff here are consistently friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. They handle the busy hours with calm professionalism and genuine smiles, which really sets the tone for a pleasant visit. One of my favorite features of this location is the beautiful outdoor seating area. It’s tucked into the vibrant CityCenter atmosphere, surrounded by trees and string lights, offering a relaxing space to sip your drink and take in the city vibes. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick pick-me-up or settling in for a relaxing break, Tatte at CityCenter is a gem. Fantastic drinks, great service, and a charming setting—definitely a five-star experience!
